SWF presents at Cornell Workshop on Space Security

Secure World Foundation Consultants Brian Weeden and Ben Baseley-Walker participated in the "Cornell Workshop on Space Security", August 19-20. This event, organized by the Cornell Peace Studies Program and the MIT Technology and Security Group, brought together several leading technical and policy researchers in the space security field. Brian Weeden made presentations on space situational awareness and the vulnerabilities in US space power while Ben Baseley-Walker made a presentation on current international space security initiatives. Other participants discussed the January 2007 Chinese antisatellite test and the February 2008 US interception of a USA 193.
